Careers Learning
We are delighted to work with East Sussex Primary Careers Hub to develop our careers learning from EYFS to Year 6.

Dream, Believe, Achieve
At our school, we want every child to develop high aspirations and believe that they can achieve their goals. We help children discover the wide range of opportunities available to them and understand how the skills they learn today can help shape their future.
Careers education in primary school is not about asking children to choose a job. Instead, it is about broadening horizons, challenging stereotypes, building confidence and helping children understand the world beyond school. Inspired by good practice in primary careers education, we provide opportunities for pupils to meet a variety of people, learn about different occupations and develop the skills needed for future success.
We aim to:
- Raise aspirations for all pupils.
- Help children recognise their strengths and talents.
- Introduce a wide variety of careers and workplaces.
- Challenge gender and social stereotypes.
- Develop employability skills such as teamwork, communication, resilience and problem-solving.
- Help pupils understand the importance of education in achieving their ambitions.
- Build confidence and ambition for the future.
